RRC Recruitment 2024: Applications Open for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ Posts – Apply Now

RRC Recruitment The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced the opening of applications for eligible and hardworking candidates to fill positions in Group ‘C’ and Erstwhile Group ‘D’ under the Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2024–25. Interested candidates are invited to apply online before the deadline.

RRC Recruitment Available Posts and Vacancies:

  • Group ‘C’: 2 posts (West Central Railway)
  • Erstwhile Group ‘D’: 6 posts (2 each for Jabalpur, Bhopal, and Kota Divisions)

Total Vacancies: 8

RRC Recruitment Age Limit:

  • For Group ‘C’ (Level 2): 18 to 30 years
  • For Group ‘D’ (Level 1): 18 to 33 years

RRC Recruitment Salary Details:

  • Group ‘C’ (Level 2): Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 (as per the 7th CPC)
  • Erstwhile Group ‘D’ (Level 1): Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 (as per the 7th CPC)

RRC Recruitment Educational Qualifications:

For Group ‘C’ (Level 2):

  • Qualification:
    • 12th pass (+2 stage) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
    • The 50% aggregate requirement is waived for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PWD categories or those with higher qualifications like graduation or post-graduation.
    • Candidates appointed as Clerk-cum-Typists must acquire typing proficiency within two years (30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi).
  • Alternative Qualification:
    • 10th pass along with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI from NCVT/SCVT-approved institutions for Technician Grade-III.

For Group ‘D’ (Level 1):

  • Qualification:
    • 10th pass along with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT.
    • Alternatively, a 10th pass with ITI certification in relevant fields like Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, and others.

RRC Recruitment Application Fees:

  • General/OBC: Rs. 500
  • SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities/Transgender/Economic Backward Classes: Rs. 250

RRC Recruitment Selection Process:

The selection process consists of:

  • Written Examination
  • Document Verification

Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates need to score at least 40% in the written exam to qualify.
