Eligibility Criteria: Age Limits and Qualifications

Age Requirements:

• Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second in Command): Maximum age of 50 years.
• Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): Maximum age of 40 years.
• Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): Maximum age of 30 years.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command):

   • Must hold an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
   • Completion of a compulsory rotating internship.
   • Permanent registration with MCI, NMC, or a State Medical Council.

2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant):

   • Must possess a recognized medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
   • Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
   • Postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialty, along with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience for a PG degree holder, or 2.5 years for a PG diploma holder.

3. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant):

   • Should have a recognized medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
   • Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
   • Must be registered with MCI, NMC, or a State Medical Council.

Salary Structure for CAPF Medical Officer Positions

The monthly salary for CAPF positions is based on the following pay levels:

• Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second in Command): Level-12, ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200
• Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): Level-11, ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700
• Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): Level-10, ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500

• Application Fee: ₹400 for male candidates from General, OBC, and EWS categories.
