INDIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT 2024:

  • The Indian Navy is inviting online applications from unmarried male candidates for the recruitment of sailors in the Medical Branch as SSR (Medical Assistant) for the November 2024 batch.
  • Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 14,600 during the training period.
  • After the training, candidates will earn a monthly salary as per Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix, ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100.
  • Eligibility criteria require candidates to have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board.
  • The engagement for this position will be initially for 20 years.
  • Age eligibility for applicants is between 01 Nov 2003 and 30 Apr 2007 (both dates inclusive).
  • State-wise vacancies will be allocated for the SSR (Medical Assistant) post.
  • The selection process will be based on:
    • Marks obtained in 10+2 PCB
    • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
    • Written Examination
    • Recruitment Medical Examination

Salary for Indian Navy Recruitment 2024:

  • During the training period:

    • Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 14,600.

  • After the training period:

    • Candidates will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix with a salary range of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100.
    • In addition, they will receive Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs. 5,200 per month plus applicable Dearness Allowance (DA).
 

Age Limit for Indian Navy Recruitment 2024:

  • As per the official notification, candidates must be born between 01 Nov 2003 and 30 Apr 2007 (both dates inclusive).

Tenure for Indian Navy Recruitment 2024:

  • The initial engagement period for selected candidates will be 20 years.

Required Qualification for Indian Navy Recruitment 2024:

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized Board of School Education under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
  • A minimum aggregate of 50% marks and at least 40% in each subject is required.

Selection Process for Indian Navy Recruitment 2024:

  • The selection process will consist of two stages, as outlined below.
  • Results will be published on the candidate’s dashboard on the official website by the end of October 2024 or early November 2024.
  • Candidates must bring original documents, including Certificates, Mark Sheets, Domicile Certificate, and NCC Certificate (if applicable), during all stages of recruitment (Stage II and enrollment at INS Chilka).

Stage I:

  • Shortlisting based on marks obtained in the 10+2 PCB examination.

Stage II:

  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Written Examination
  • Recruitment Medical Examination
