National Institute of Technology (NIT AP) Andhra Pradesh is inviting applications from qualified candidates for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DRDO-CARS funded project. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or allied branches
    • Alternatively, M.Sc. in Physics or Mathematics.
  • Qualifying Examinations:

    • Must have cleared any national eligibility test such as CSIR-UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
  • Minimum Marks Required:

    • For UR/EWS/OBC-NCL: 60% aggregate or CGPA of 6.5 (at either UG or PG level)
    • For SC/ST/PWD: 55% aggregate or CGPA of 6.0 (at either UG or PG level)
  • Desired Experience:

    • Knowledge and experience in computer simulations for electromagnetic devices (e.g., couplers, waveguides) are highly desirable.
  • Age Limit:

    • 35 years as of the last application date, with possible relaxation for exceptional candidates.

Position Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: ₹37,000 per month (plus HRA as per institute norms)
