The Reserve Bank of India Recruitment (RBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of a Bank Medical Consultant (BMC) on a contractual basis. This is a unique opportunity for qualified allopathic doctors to work with one of the most prestigious financial institutions in India.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Applicants must possess an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
  • Postgraduates with a degree in General Medicine are also eligible to apply.
• Experience:
  • Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in practicing medicine in a hospital or clinic.

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should reside or have a clinic within a 3 to 5 km radius of the RBI office in Kochi.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Pay: Selected candidates will be compensated at a rate of Rs. 1000 per hour.
• Additional Allowances:
  • Conveyance Allowance: Rs. 1000 per month.
  • Mobile Charges Reimbursement: Rs. 1000 per month.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will undergo an interview to assess their eligibility.
• Post-interview, shortlisted candidates will be required to pass a medical test. The cost of the medical tests will be borne by the applicant.
