Position Overview

• Post: General Manager (Civil)

• Salary: Selected candidates will receive a salary in the E-8 grade on the IDA pay scale, ranging from Rs. 120,000 to Rs. 280,000, plus additional allowances and Performance Related Pay (PRP).
• Posting Location: Candidates may be assigned to any location across India.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech or an equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university, deemed university, or autonomous institution.

2. Work Experience:
A minimum of 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience is required in fields such as Doubling, Gauge conversion, Planning and Design, Metro construction, and Project Management. At least one year of experience in metro-related projects is mandatory.

3. Age Limit:
Applicants must be under the age of 58 as of October 1, 2024.

4. Additional Requirements for PSU Officials:

• Government Officials: Must hold an equivalent post in the CDA grade or be in Level-13 (CDA) with at least 17 years in Group ‘A’.
• CPSE Officials: Should be in a similar grade (IDA) or in a position with an IDA pay scale of Rs. 100,000–260,000 for at least four years.
• Private Sector Applicants: Must have a minimum annual CTC of Rs. 40 lakhs and 20 years of experience.

Selection Process

The selection procedure will consist of an initial screening based on qualifications and experience, followed by an interview and medical examination at RVNL’s Corporate Office. Candidates will be assessed for their suitability for the role through this process.

Appointment Terms

The appointment will be on a regular basis, with the selected individual being placed in the General Manager (Civil) role under the E-8 grade.
